Library Lecture Series While we don't yet have a library building in which to host cultural events, the library can still serve in this traditional fashion by sponsoring a lecture series in Ester's nearby community space, Hartung Hall. The lecture series focuses on writers, artists, adventurers, scholars, entrepreneurs, musicians, craftspeople, and colorful characters from, visiting, or of interest to Ester. Admission is free; donations are encouraged—and very much appreciated. Upcoming speakers for the 2012 forum include Sandy Jamieson, David Stone, Peter McRoy, and Tom Zimmer and Susan Willsrud. Dates and times for each speaker will be announced. The JTEL Events & Programs Committee is responsible for organizing speakers and lectures. The forum is held in Hartung Hall, Main Street & Ester Loop, Ester, at 7 pm on the second Wednesday of the month. Parking and beverages are available at the nearby Golden Eagle Saloon.
