Tuesday Knit and Crochet Night meets on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Tuesday of every month. Drop by between 4 – 7 pm at the Ester Library. All levels of handicrafts are welcome. What is likely going to become a tradition, the John Trigg Ester Library hosted its second annual outdoor venue for trick or treating on Halloween night 2022! This year featured a warming fire pit, and once again had delicious pumpkin soup as well as lots of candy for the kids.
The Clausen Cabin was spookified with moving lights, decorations and sound. The venue attracted dozens of trick or treaters and parents!
The John Trigg Ester Library held its Fiscal Year 22 Annual Meeting and Election of Board Members on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at the Clausen Cabin and via Zoom. FY22 was a much better year than the COVID affected two years prior, and the membership considered it a successful year! Meeting minutes and the FY22 Annual Report can be seen at this link.
Elections were held for four open Board of Director positions, and at the following newly elected Board meeting, officers were selected. The newly elected Board members and continuing Board members comprising the FY23 Board of Directors include:

The date has been set for the 2022 Annual Meeting of the John Trigg Ester Library! All members are invited to participate, and non-members are welcome as well. Voting will be limited to members; however, non-members can become members at the meeting for a $10 annual membership fee. Light refreshments will be provided.

What: After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the John Trigg Ester Library’s premiere fundraiser is back! Come and enjoy live music, sample delicious pies, and support the Ester Library for an entry fee/donation of $10.
Berry Pie Competition
All pies must contain berries, of which there are many to choose from. Pies will be judged in the categories of sweet, savory and overall. Get your imagination and culinary skills in order and enter your pie(s) at the JTEL Clausen Cabin (across from the Golden Eagle) between 2:00 and 4:00 pm the day of the festival. Judging will take place at 4:00 pm.
The three winning pies (sweet, savory and overall winners) will be auctioned at the Golden Eagle at 8 pm during the Music Festival. The rest of the competitive pies will be available at the Golden Eagle for $5 per slice. Non-competitive pies may also be accepted as donations up to 5 pm at the Clausen Cabin, and then at the Golden Eagle until 8 pm.
