Jan Ohmstede, an Ester resident for 12 of 19 years in Alaska, has worked in the field of early childhood special education and holds degrees in speech pathology, child development and paralegal studies. Interests include hiking, gardening, birding, music, dancing, lifelong learning, and supporting the local arts. Trey Simmons Trey is an aquatic ecologist working for the National Park Service. He has been in Fairbanks for six years, and has lived in Ester proper for a little over two years. He is a former board member of the Northern Alaska Environmental Center and the Ester Community Association and has been volunteering for various library-related events for three years. | |||
