Adult Art Classes

Join us and Willow Art Studios for different adult art classes. This week we’ll learn batik!
Bring a white shirt or basic material will be provided. This project is adding a wax design and dyeing fabric to make a unique and lasting design to fabric. What’s nice about this method is that it lasts a long time and there are no plastic dyes that crack and feel uncomfortable to the skin. This method of designing on fabric is an old way of art
and takes lots of practice to get it right but all designs come out looking really neat and
original. You get to pick out the color dyes you want to use and use them to make your own
design. Materials: Wax, Material Linen, Dye, and Wash Tubs
$10 art fee
