Adult Art Classes

Join us and Willow Art Studios for different adult art classes. This week we’ll learn sun prints!
This project might be a challenge because you need the sun to do it for the best result. But that can be a challenge to predict for the Alaska weather. So it can be done with a desk lamp and I have a few lamps I can bring for this project. First design your composition and make your cut outs of construction paper. Then we are going to water our paper really well and add beautiful watercolor to it. Then carefully place your cutouts on the wet watercolor carefully. Then put it outside in the sun or under a desk lamp. Let dry and when completely dry, remove the cut outs and you will have a beautiful print.
Materials: Watercolor paper, Watercolor, Paint, Black Construction Paper, Scissors.
